Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my dog need daycare?
Doggy daycare is a fairly new but wonderful phenomenon – these day care centers offer short-term boarding (and training if your furry one lodges with us)! Similar to pet-sitting, pet parents can drop off their dogs at the start of the day and collect them at the end, with the option for longer stays for when owners go out of town.
What benefits does my dog get from daycare?
Doggy daycare is fantastic for socialization, both with other dogs and people. Your pet gets to socialize, burn off energy and even become trained! Doggy day care provides your furry friends with the care and attention they need during the day, which can otherwise be difficult for working dog parents! These dog day care centers are especially helpful for puppies when they have the most energy and most curiosity – it’ll get them used to engaging with other dogs and help them develop key social skills.
What will my dog learn at daycare?
Doggy day care offers physical exercise, mental stimulation, companionship and with us you get training too! Your furry friend is well taken care of and stays engaged while making time for set, slow meals and periods of rest after a full day.
How often should my dog attend daycare?
Day care for dogs is quite similar to daycare for humans, it’s fantastic for supplementing some of the interaction and skill building that you may not be able to provide day to day but it’s still important to foster the same kind of environment at home. It’s recommended that your furry friend attends day care no more than 3 days a week (now of course it’s different when it comes to boarding which is more long term).
