The foundation
Basic obedience — the commands your dog will master
Basic obedience is the foundation every dog needs, and it’s built into every GIFMAF program. Your dog learns a core set of commands and follows them reliably, even around distractions:
Come
A dependable recall, every time.
Sit & Down
Calm, on cue.
Place
Settle and stay on a spot until released.
Heel
Loose-leash walking with no more pulling.
Off
No jumping on family or guests.
Stay
Hold position until you say otherwise.
Beyond the basics
Real off-leash obedience
Full off-leash obedience is included in every one of our programs — even the shortest one. That means a dog that listens whether or not there’s a leash attached, and manners that hold up on a real sidewalk, at the park, or with guests at the door. We train for the world your dog actually lives in, with real-world socialization and outings built into the program.

How it works
How our obedience training works
After graduation, unlimited monthly group classes and alumni pack walks keep your dog’s obedience sharp for life — ongoing dog obedience classes that come included, not as an add-on.
We deliver obedience through our board-and-train program, where your dog lives with our trainers and gets consistent, daily repetition in a controlled environment — the fastest, mostreliable way to build habits that last. Programs start at $1,739 for 10 days, with 15- and 30-day options, each including daily private training, socialization, daily video updates, and a private session to transfer the training to you at home. Full details are on the Board & Train page.
